Brenda's Story

I taught English and French in Cherokee County, GA, for fourteen years under the name of Brenda Abner. In 1975 I married for the second time, to Garry Puckett and we live on his family homestead in Waleska, where we specialized in raising cattle. l feel seventeen even though I am nearing seventy. I have been in touch with a few of you in the last few years thanks to the internet. There are others I wonder about. I have written almost daily for a couple of years to Alton, and he has filled me in on several of you: Bobby L. Lucretia (I know, LOU) H., Barbara, Shirley, and many more.
