Life
Brenda Kay Ackerson now Brenda Kay Barnes. Was married for the second time on 2/14/1997. I have two children from a previous relationship. My son Trevor is 23 and now married to my wonderful daughter-in-law Claire (from the UK) and now they blessed our family with my grandson Shaun Owen Norman on July 6, 2010. My daughter Amanda is 21 and married my son in law Eugene Seibert Nov. 20, 2010. We have 2 dogs, Sophie & Missy, 2 cats Spirit & Salem, We have 2 cockatiels Lemon Drop & Pretty Boy. Many fish that are a part of our family. I kinda have 3 step kids Melissa 26, Jereme 25 and Eugene 24. I am a very happy Nanna of 4 grandchildren by, Melissa, Lydia is 5 & Albert passed away April 26, 2009 at 21 months. Issac is almost 3, and Emmett Wade 1 1/2. Eugene just added Harold Eugene on June 2, 2008. It's AWESOME being a Nana. We are in the hopes of owning the house that we live in the in the near future. The hours I work PT/FT (130 hrs bi-monthly) allow me the freedom to still be a stay-at-home mom & wife. I have been a stay at home mom for 23 years, it's hard to give that up so I won't. I am an Avon Representative, I sell online too so If you look up my name at Avon.com/BrendaBarnes, you can order directly & have orders sent straight to you anywhere. I enjoy going out in the tow truck with my husband when I can. We have a resort membership that we enjoy so we can get away and spend time as a family. Our favorite place to go is to Ocean Shores and jump in the waves. I spend a lot of time doing things for and with my church where I am the Reception Coordinator & on the Disciple Women board, Diaconate and on the Governing Board. I put out our church newsletter bi-weekly also. I volunteer a lot in the community. I enjoy scrap booking, movies, family time, church functions, watching cartoons with my granddaughter Lydia. I also love it when my daughter has slumber parties with my additional girls. They all call me mom. God Bless and keep you all.
