Brenda's Story
Wow, where do I begin...I lived a pretty fun & crazy life in high school and beyond. Not much meaning or thought about my future, but who really thinks like that in their early years. Most of us think we are on the funship! It wasn't until I got pregnant with my son in 1987 that I realized that I wanted more out of life, not only for myself but for my son Taylor. I surrendered my life to the Lord 3 months after he was born...and I have never looked back or had any regrets. God has been good to me! I married my son's father and the love of my life, Isaias Gomez. We will celebrate 21 years of marriage in September 09! We also had a daughter in October 1992. We have truly been blessed. Taylor and Chelsey are both amazing kids and are one of the greatest joys of my life. My son is in college with much more ambition then I had at his age, my daughter graduates high school next year and will also ...Expand for more
pursue higher education. I did go back to college after I got my life together. I've had my own business but for the last 10 years I've had the privilege of doing God's business. I've worked for the church as a CFO/Office manager and I love being employed doing something for the Kingdom of God. My husband is an awesome man of God, who has been a great role model and example to our kids. We love doing ministry and serving in the church together, boating, gardening, cooking, vacationing, or just hanging out together. He has been my best friend for the last 29 years and we still enjoy each others company!!! I attribute our happiness to the Lord...Jesus gets all the credit!!! If it wasn't for Him I don't know where my life would have ended up. I just want to say if you are in need of hope...no matter what your situation is, JESUS is the answer! "...with God all things are possible." Matt. 19:26
