Brenda's Story
After HS I attended UC berkeley and graduated with a degree in Anthro. After a short time in the Peace Corps (Togo) I came home and decided to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up..Medicine, Veterinary medicine or nursing. Nursing won and I have never regretted my choice. I have worked primarily as a Neuro/Critical Care/ER nurse and started teaching nursing about 3 years after I started to practice. I am currently faculty at a Community College in Northern CA where I serve as the simulation instructor....high tech and lots of fun!

unsuccessful first marriage I met my life partner, Lennart. Len was born in Sweden and moved to the USA when he was in his early twenties. He is also a nurse and specializes in cardiac care. We have no kids, but we do live in the country with our multitude of pets. I own and show salukis and have many friends that I've made while showing the dogs. Len and I try to follow our passions and live life with gusto.
I have a hard time believing my friends have grand kids as I still feel like I am just getting started in life. EVERYTHING is so interesting!
