Brenda's Story
Went to Oklahoma Baptist Univ. after graduation. Married an USAF guy, Mike King. Lived in Alaska for 6 yrs and then moved to NM where we recently retired from the Airforce. Husband works as a civilian at the base. Married for 21 yrs to the same wonderful guy. We have Three kids, Michael Jr - 20, Melody- 18, Brandon - 14. Both older kids are in college, Mike Jr at Eastern New Mexico Univ persueing a career as a bum, Melody at Oklahoma Baptist Univ in premed program to be a chiropractor. Brandon is our youngest at 14 and plays football (in which they won state this year), basketball, and baseball. few years ago and get my RN and now work as a charge nurse on the pediatric floor at our local hospital. My family loves traveling. We went to England, Scottland, Germany, and Hawaii in 2007 when my husband retired from the USAF. I have been to Tanzania and worked missions with the Maasai, and plan to return to Belize this Jan 2009 for more missions doing various things. My family and I are very involved in our church, Mike and I sing on the praise team and Mike also teaches Sunday School and is a deacon. I work in Women's ministry and bible study. That's about it.
