Brenda's Story

Graduated in 1977, went to work full-time, got married to my teenage sweetheart in 1978. Moved away to California for a short time, had my first child in 1981. Lived life for a few years as single/widowed mother. Met my current significant other in 1984 and had my second child in 1986. Raised my family for all the years since. arted full-time school. Still working and will hopefully continue for about another 10 to 15 years. I now have 3 grandchildren, 2 girls and a boy. My children live close. Both graduated from Garfield 1999 and 2005. I have stayed in Akron since 1981 and don't plan to move away anytime soon. I have 6 dogs and 1 cat and a lot of mess to clean every day!!! Life is good!
