Brenda's Story
Life
I am about to have my 14th year wedding anniversary. I have 4 wonderful kids. A 18 year old daughter, 14 year old son, a 12 year old son, and a 6 year old son. I recently worked part-time at Mervyn's in the Sportswear department for 3 years 9 months. bredae at msn dot com is personal email. I am now 14% permnamently disabled in my back, due to a on-the-job injury at Mervyn's. I am looking for easy work, now. I had volunteered at my kid's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) for the last 3 years. I was the committee chairperson of two different committees for the last two years.
School
Elementary and High School would not of been same without my friends, Salena, Deena, Julia, Monica, Penny, Caren, Bridget, Maria, and Donna to name a few. College
I did a 1 1/2 in college out at Rio Hondo in Whittier, CA. I think that I might finish getting my A.A. in Business and Accounting in the near future. Well this year, I finally finished getting My AAS in Accounting. It only took 2 1/2 years to finish.
Workplace
Been working basically since I graduated H.S. I have had numerous jobs. I really enjoyed retail jobs, more people interaction. Have not worked in over a year now, due to a back injury on-the-job. The Dr's says my back is permnamently 14% disabled. Not good. I hope to find a part-time job, not requiring me to repetively bend or twist. I know what you thinking, good luck, hee hee. I had surgery on my back, basically frying the nerves around the pain. It has taken the pain away so I can bend and twist again without too much pain. I am more active and have lost about 20 lbs. in the last 6 months without really being on a diet. Way cool.
