Brenda Hix:  

I moved to California in 1959 when I was in the seventh grade. Up to that point I had lived in Paragould, Arkansas and went to Lakeside School. I would have graduated from Greene County Tech High if we had remained there. In California, I went to Helms and Downer Jr High and graduated from Richmond High in 1964. I attended night classes at Contra Costa Jr College in accounting. I went to work right out of high school. I worked in the accounting field for almost forty years. I retired in 2003 and my husband of almost 28 years and I became full time rv'ers. We are enjoying our travels and don't see an end to it any time soon. We also go back to Paragould quite often visiting family. My Husband, Troy Hix is from Tipton, Ok and went to school there. He moved to California somewhere around 1960.
