Brenda's Story
I look at the world in a much different way than I did in high school. I hope that I make the people around me happy. I believe that giving someone I do not know a smile, is my gift.
I love my family, and I am living my second childhood through my grandkids ( giggle). Larry and I have two kids, Doug (35) CPA and Danielle (25), Doug and Jennifer have three kids, Danielle and AJ just had a baby. We do lots of things together, and enjoy alot of the same things. I feel very blessed to have a great family. I realized long ago, that working at relationships is very important. Sort of like a garden, if you look after it, and give it tender loving care, it will bloom and be beautiful.
I truly believe in the saying ( Live and Let Live).
I enjoy playing online games with my grandkids. We play mmo online games, and lots of other internet games. We do not play as much now, but I still play some. I really do not like to watch TV,...Expand for more
unless it is funny or educational. The news and hard issues make me unhappy.
What would surprise eveyone? Well, I guess it is that I like dragons, faries, and anything that is fantasy related. My favorite movies are ones like Lord of the Rings, or The Seeker. I cry when animals get hurt, and my husband makes fun of me. I have a very tender heart, but I am ok with that, the alternative would just not be me.
I keep an open mind, and have learned to listen more than talk. If someone ask my opinion, they need to grip something very tightly ( giggles ). With married children who have kids, I have learned to keep alot of my opinions to myself. I try very hard to be a great in-law.
I do believe it is important to stand up for things that are right in this world. To not judge anyone, unless you have traveled in their shoes. Keeping an open mind is the window to the world. I try very hard to live by those three ideas.
