Brenda's Story
After senior year, I went to Louisville and attended a one year program in computer science. I gratuated with the highest grade in the history of the school and was given an opportunity to go to Korea for a job. I was dumb and young and chose not to go and I could kick myself today for that decision but we live and learn. I lived in Louisville and worked for a year after school and then moved back to Lexington. I have enjoyed life and my family.
I work for Clark Material Handling Co. and have been with them for about 22 years. I have held several positions there and currently I am the warranty analyst for Nor...Expand for more
th America and International dealers. I have held this position since 1999. One aspect of my job that I really enjoy is the training classes that I give to our dealers each year. I get to meet many people in my job and I enjoy it. I do have fun at work and believe that a happy employee is a productive employee.
I do look forward to retiring one day and hopefully in about 7 years.
I also volunteer and serve on the Friends of the Children Board at the Ky United Methodist Home for Chilren. I really enjoy doing this and I derive a real feeling of satisfaction from my work there. These children just warm my heart.
