I have had an amazing journey since leaving ECHS in 1972. You might remember me being pregnant as I walked across the stage to receive my my diploma. My only child, Tamika, was born 9/2/72 and has been one of the greatest teachers in my life (besides my parents) Both of my parents died in early 1980 and the pain of the loss devistated me. So much so, that the only thing that eased the pain was drugs & alcohol. Getting lost in drugs opened up a world that I never new existed that was both frightening and humiliating. By the grace of a loving God, I found a new way of life in 1989 and have been clean since. My whole world altered out of surrendering my life to God. In 1995, I received a behavioral science degree in Organizational Behavior from USF. I began to develop a non-profit organization to empower teens, families and communities.
