Brenda's Story
After graduation I worked for my roommate for a while. I then started working for Manufacturers Hanover Bank which went through many mergers for the next twelve years. I worked there until all of the jobs were sent to Syracuse, NY in 2001. I then took a year off to take care of my new born. I then went to work at Uniquema Chemical Company and then moved over to the trucking company that hauled most of their chemicals. That job was transferred to Illinois, so I left there.
I married in 1995 and had my first son in 1998. I had my second son in 2001. I was p...Expand for more
regnant and working in the tallest building in the state when 9/11 happened. That was scary.
I got a divorce in 2005. I lost my job at the trucking company right around the same time. I then started working at Happy Harry's figuring that I could move to the corporate office eventually. Well, Walgreen's took over and that flew by the wayside, so I have been making the best of it for now. I guess that I never decided what I wanted to be when I grew up.
I am now engaged and with the best man ever. My kids teach me new things every day and are my pride and joy.
