Brenda's Story
Life
After graduating from Carlisle, I attended Central College in Pella. Part of my junior year was spent studying at Trinity College in Carmarthen, Wales, backpacking through Europe, and travelling to the Soviet Union(just before it broke apart). In 1992 I moved to Yuma, AZ to teach high school math. I taught there for 8 years before I moved back to Iowa....where I taught in Amish-land in Wellman (near Iowa City). I stayed there one year----bored out of my mind.....and moved back to Arizona...My favori...Expand for more
te thing to do is to travel to San Diego. I spend a lot of time working with Young Life.
School
As a teacher now, I look back and realize what a great experience I had at Carlisle HS. The teachers were great! There were lots of opportunities to get involved. The school pride was incredible---road trips to football games, state basketball games, state wrestling tournaments, etc.
