Brenda's Story
Hi everyone from SUNNY San Diego.
That I became a teacher for 25yrs. and now a Principal/Director and am legal to pull the
Fire Alarm.ha,ha
I remember a GREAT substitute teacher I
liked a lot she was so funny and that was
Mrs. Carter. Her son went to school with
us. She would come into the classroom
and was always prepared.
Pull the Fire Alarm at Fir Grove. It was on a dare.
Now that I have to re-enforce it with my own students to leave the Fire Alarm its not so cool.
I don't know what happen to my first crush, he
could be dead by now.
That I worked hard... with 2 jobs in High School
knew alot of people but didn't have too many
friends.
Dancing with my friends at American Legions in
Imperial Beach, San Diego County, Calif. it's a small town next to the border, we live only 3 miles from Tijuana, Mexico.
That our family is large made up of 3 his, 2 mine, 1 ours and took in 3 from the streets thats 9 children and 15 grandchildren. To have the patience
to raise that many and to be able to go back to

lege and go on to become a teacher.
Maybe would've of stayed in Roseburg. But I have
had a great time living all over and in Japan.
The weirdest job was back in Virginia Beach, we were stationed there and I was a professional candy and cake decorator. Did a lot of weddings that was stressful. ha,ha
When I left high school I went to Long Beach,Calif.
then to Japan for a couple of years. Then was transfered to San Diego, Calif. then we were transfered to Bremerton, Wash. then back to
San Diego, Calif. and then onto Virginia Beach, Va.
Then we got transfered back to San Diego, Calif. for
my husbands last 3yrs. of his retirement with 30yrs. in the Navy.
My husband and I will celebrate our 28th wedding
anniversary on the 20th this month. We got married on Super Bowl Sunday and the Admiral was rushing the service so we wouldn't miss the game.
This is a long winded message to all of you and who knew me and it catches you up with my life.
Wishing you all the best in the New Year 2008.
