Brenda Minnis:  

Brenda is from Alvin, Texas. She is married with Steve Minnis. Her schools include Alvin High School. She later attended TWU (Zoology, Minor in Psychology) and UNT (MEd) in Denton, Texas. I have held many types of jobs; administrative secretary for 2 different business one in plumbing and one in auto insurance and as a safety coordinator for Denton's American Red Cross. I taught adults secretarial skills for a private school for a year then taught in high school for 5 years. I currently teach for Sears Defensive Driving and volunteer as a Driving Safety Instructor for AARP. My interests include swimming, any sports team my grandkids are participating in, all art programs such as dance, choir, band and theater programs. My favorite sport team is the Texas Rangers. While in high school I loved being in girl scouts so I transitioned into the adult scouting programs in college and then after I graduated earning a 30 year pin before my own children's activities conflicted with my own desires.
