Brenda's Story

I was married in 1973 and have two sons and a beautiful grandson. I was widowed in 2003 and have since remarried. Dan is a Texan, so here I am in East Texas. Life is good. I love cooking and channel that into my church - preparing meals for many occasions. I also have 13 chickens and one rooster. I love them tons more than my four cats and two dogs. r that. Guess I should life on a farm. Dan and I are pretty much homebodies. We're TX Rangers fans (I'm the worst one - I want to be manager :) ). We watch old westerns and Monk and he's hooked on golf. I have a set of clubs, but have yet to get the thrill of the game. Retirement is great. Strange, you still get up early and sometimes there still aren't enough hours in the day, but like I said, LIFE IS GOOD.
