Brenda's Story
In 1981 I moved to Mobile Al that is where I met the love of my life.My parents followed me to
Al in 1985. In 1994 I moved to Ardmore Oklahoma 3 days prior to the Murray building blowing up in OK city. I thought to myself, have I made the right choice.I lived in a 100 year old farm house in the middle of no where on top of a hill. My closest neighbor was 2 miles south of my house. I could watch fire works in three towns. I lived on 40 acres with my son Levi, my two dogs and cat. I got pretty good shooting armadillos and coyotes. there 900 acres. It was awsome.
They say southerners have hospitality, they don't hold a candle to the fine people in OKlahoma. I worked as a vet tech at the Ardmore Animal Hospital, treated large /small animals. I recieved my CDL's in 2000 and started driving 48 states and have loved it. I feel as if I'm a paid tourist. Everyone has ther own idea of what happiness is. Mine is the whinnie of a horse when I get home, a front porch to relax on in the evenings with the local owles giving a who concert to go to sleep too.UPDATE.I moved to Gainesville Florida in 2011, got out of the semi and am now working as a vet tech again.
