Brenda's Story
Right after school I went to Beauty College and obtained my license, also got my license in Utah. Owned my own Salon for 3 years then worked for Disneyland as a Hairdresser and make-up artist for 15 years. There I met and married my sweetheart Bob. We got married in 1980. We had two children, our son Gabe and daughter Vanessa. We were married 23 years when Bob became ill and passed away in 2003. It has been hard without him but I am grateful for my children. My son married a beautiful young woman, Kim and I am glad to have a new daughter, both kids are doing well and are happy. Isn't that what every parent wants! rful marriage and great kids. I am still working, I work for the County of Orange and have for 16 years, looking forward to retirement...I hope!! My story continues.
I worked for the Couty for 21 years, retired . Have been retired for seven years. I don't know how I fit work in!, My son and his sweet wife now have 3 beautiful children, a daughter 11 and twin sons 7. They are so much fun!
My daughter married a wonderful young man, and they live with me. They have been fixing our house up. It is nice to have them with me. I have been painting up a storm and am so enjoying my retirement! I forever miss my sweet husband. But, I know I will see him again.
