Brandi's Story
Life
Here's my story:
After high school, I went to two years of college. I took a break when I became a mom. My second child came and I was busy with my two boys, Mitch and Quain. My marriage was very rocky and I got a divorce in l988. I moved to Oklahoma and finished my degree in Education with a major in Spanish and minor in English. I returned to Arkansas where a lot of my family lived. We lived in Southern Arkansas for two years and had wonderful lifetime friends.
In 1990, I moved to Illinois to teach in Peoria....the North. I finally had to buy a coat and get used to the cold weather.
Since then, I met my current husband and moved to the St. Louis area where I continue to teach Spanish. Life is good. My sons are grown now and live nearby. I have my Master's degree in English as a Second Language. I volunteer in a pregnancy center in my area to help girls who want to keep their babies but don't have a strong support system. Both of my parents have died now, but I am sure that both of them were Christians when they died. My life is full and happy and God has bless...Expand for more

Hi there. I hope that you will contact me if you and I went to school together in one of many different places that my family lived when I was growing up. I started school in Freeport, Texas and would love to hear from all of you from Jane Long Elementary. I still think about Mrs. Coffey, Ms. Macek? and Ms. Evans sometimes. I loved Mrs. Coffey so much that I think that she is the reason I later became a school teacher.
My life after high school in Spring Branch, Clear Lake and Deer Park Texas, has been a very good one. It took me until I was almost thirty years old to graduated from college but I finally did it after having two children and working.
I have been a high school Spanish teacher for 20 years now and have also earned my Masters degree in English as a Second Language. I love my job and am very fortunate to still love teenagers after this many years. Let me know what you are doing these days....
