Hello to all my Flying L classmates. Even though I graduated from Piper High School in Sunrise, I still consider myself a Flying L and enjoy fond memories of my youth in Ft. Lauderdale.
I married my college sweetheart in 1985 after years of living the high life in Pompano Beach. Her employer (IBM) moved us to Atlanta in '86 as they started to downsize their Boca Raton operations. We really enjoy the lifestyle in Atlanta as the cost of living is ...Expand for more
good, land and home values are outstanding, and the public school system in our area is top notch. My only fear in moving away from the ocean was how to survive without a large body of water nearby. No problem once we researched the numerous fresh water lakes in the area. There are many great areas to waterski and wakeboard, and there are no speed limits on the larger lakes!
