Brennan's Story
Life
Brennan Zerbe: I moved to San Francisco from NYC in 1981 and then moved again across the Golden gate Bridge to the middle of an old growth oak forest in Mill Valley in 1989. I still live there with my wife Marilyn, and my two boys...17 year old Gavin and 14 year old Devon. Oh yes, we also have a dog. His name reflects his ferocious character...Romeo. He's a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, tri-color for those who are interested in such things.
I work for the Hearst Corporation, where I have been since 1979. First in New York then in SF. I was Controller for the Hearst Corp. Califonia real estate group from 1981 ...Expand for more
to June 2005, when I moved into the operational side of the business. Now I am director for SF Real Estate operations.
For summer fun we go to nearby Stinson Beach, bike ride in the Sierra, hike along the coastal cliffs of Northern CA and go to Lake Tahoe. In the winter, I wait for the powder and then ski. I have been involved in coaching a CYO basketball team the past few years and still love to play!
I have built a decent wine collection (part of living in the SF Bay Area). Marilyn likes to be creative in the kitchen and we both like to entertain so we have wine tasting dinner parties pairing food with wine. Fun!
