Bret's Story
Life
After college, I settled in the SF/SJ Bay Area and haven't moved more than 3 miles since, which was quite different from growing up! I picked the trombone up again when my kids started playing instruments in elementary school. It's become a great hobby and I sit in with a few swing bands and play in the pit for some of the shows that are staged in our community.

Now that the kids are out of the house, golf has become a passion equal to music!
Career-wise, I worked for a CPA firm out of school and a couple of property/asset managers after that. For some time now, I've been the controller of a property firm that owns retail and office properties located primarily in the Bay area.
Although I finished my high school years in California at Leland, my time in Minnesota, the people and Orono is fondly remembered.
