Bret's Story

Life They say the first thing to go while getting on in life is the memory. What were we just talking about??? Grins. it seems like the last 23 years have flown by and nothing has been accomplished. But quit a few things have been for me. Made and lost friends. Changed careers due to the economy. Got married. Got divorced. Now doing something alot of us kids wanted to do: drive that big semi going down the highway. And working on owning a couple as a new business. Miss the beach at sunset. But to make up for it have seen things I probably never would have been able to see were it not for this job. Maine and upper New York in the fall. Rocky Mountain...Expand for more
s in the winter. Herds of deer in Texas. The annual migration of ducks and geese in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota headed south. Various forests, lakes, rivers, and a waterfall (you read it right. It is on I84 in Oregon). Skies just full of stars so close you think you can touch them. And chasing outrageously beautiful sunsets. So if you ever see a big red England truck rolling by it could be me. And yes I do think back to those days we had. And do still cherish them. For those who knew me, i am still that outgoing guy you all knew. Also, considerably wiser. And I can still make that awful noise out of a trumpet to!! Missing you all! Bret Bowen
