FYI -- I am not very active with Classmates but you can find me on Facebook. My personal story--hopefully without being too long-winded .... After graduating from Newark High in 1977 I went on to Santa Clara Univ to study Biology (thought I wanted to be a vet) and play baseball. Things changed and I went on to Ohlone College for a year, played baseball and got my AA in Journalism/Broadcasting. Went on to Univ of Pacific and got my BA in Communication, had my own radio show, and signed a contract to play professional baseball with the Milwaukee Brewers. Unfortunately got hurt a couple of years later and the baseball career was over. Thought I would pursue broadcasting with hopes of doing baseball/sports on radio/TV. Met my wife-to-be soon after returning from baseball so the broadcasting thing never really got off the ground. Married in 1984 and worked selling computers and systems with Burroughs Corp (now Unisys). Moved to Hawaii in 1985, managed investment real estate, and my first child...Expand for more
