Life
After two failed marriages, I finally found the right one. Married in 1990 with many moves through the years. At the time of meeting, husband worked for an oil service company...Wyoming twice, Colorado twice, Louisiana, Kuwait (lived there for eight months...I found that I loved being an American) and now Oklahoma. I did have a part time job at American Express Financial Advisors, but since we built our log home it is too far to commute. We live on twelve acres north of Oklahoma City outside of a small town called Arcadia. My husband is part owner of an oil consulting firm and travels a great deal. have two stepdaughters. I am now a grandma..two boys. My Mom is back living with my sister, Cathy, her husband Jack, and my 30 year old niece who just moved back home in Tampa, Florida. I never thought I'd ever leave California, but when he tells you that you never have to work again...goodbye California.
Sad, terrible news. My sister, Cathy (Brewer) McDonnell, passed away in her sleep August 17, 2022 with her husband passing away a week later. Her daughter, my niece, Courtney Brucker passing away a month later. To know my mother and I will never see them or be able to hear their voices again. Cathy and Cone, we miss you both so much.
