Lesley's Story
After graduating I took a year off and started working retail. In 1989 started at Seattle Central for art classes. Went to Floral Design School in 1991 in Bellevue and started working Floral at Safeway. Thats where I met Scott (Mattson) again. We got married in 1994. Got into restoring vintage VW's and moved to the Ballard area in 1995. We showed our cars for five years and traveled around the west coast. 1995-1998 I worked at Southcenter, Alderwood, and Bellevue Square, went back to working grocery in 1999. 2001 we bought our house in Arlington. 2002 we brought our daughter Molly into world and 2005 saw the arrival of our son Tristin.
I stay at home with my children which is work enough and also a great joy. Scott is a GF electrician with an electric co. and has been in the trade for 15 years.
Now... we have 3 acres of yard to work on and two very active little ones. The cars are on the back burner although we go camping and do show from time to time. In the next years we look forward to showing our kids all the wonderful sights we have seen.
