Brian's Story

Life I relocated from Vancouver, Washington down into Portland, Oregon, in 2005 which puts me a lot closer to work (thankfully!) I worked for a small(ish) company named Qsent as an data analyst. We were acquired by TransUnion, one of the big credit bureaus and going through some growth. ;) I've been here since Jan 2005 after working for various small and medium sized companies, including several dot.com ventures... I am married to an utterly amazing woman named Stephanie who shares my penchant for exploring life... College Attended UT-Austin, majored in Electrical & Computer Engineering. Was the president of IEEE-CS and a member of IEEE and Eta Kappu Nu. Also those "mail-in" honor societies like Alpha Lambda Delta and Phi Eta Sigma. Lived in Jester dorm my first year with Ken from "Big D", who shared my same birthday (!). Later moved into my parent's apartment, and then other apartments with roommates (Warner, Blair, Jeff). Co-oped with DuPont in Beaumont Texas the summer of 1990 and then with National Instruments in Spring and Fall 1991. Joined the Longhorn Jumping Team (equestrian club) in 1991. I've since determined that I spent more money on music and concerts while at UT than I did on tuition. :) Graduated summer of 1992 with a BS defree and moved to Dallas to work for Texas Instruments in September. Workplace Here's a summary of the companies/places I've worked for, starting way back in junior high: International Space Hall of Fame - tour guide/projectionist Alamogordo Public Library - student libraria...Expand for more
