Brian's Story

Life "Flyin Brian", Boy did we have some good times ...lol... I wouldn't want to have to do it over (lucky to have lived through it the first time :>) but I am thankful to so many friends, near or far, that made high school such an enjoyable time. Most memorable moment; The day we graduated and I knew the world was ours to indulge. Some of the many things that have filled my life since; life guarding at Kah-Nee-Ta :>), 5 years of college, life in a houseboat on the Columbia, holidays on Lake Shasta, traveling Europe for 3.5 months with my best friend, skiing the Alps, diving at the Munich Olympic Pavilion, touring the Yucatan, many visits to Hawaii, 8 lifesaving water recoveries, living in Bend in the "80's", trips to "Banff" for "Winter Fest", completing 6 pentathlons, skiing in a "Warren Miller" movie, and so much more. Life in Colorado; Days are spent outside. Self employment keeps me busy 9 month a year. After work and weekends are often spent biking, hiking, skiing, at the pool, river, or music in the park, and, Yes - still lots of time for golf. To date I have summitted 28 of Colorado 14,000' peaks. With the 3 months of vacation we truly enjoy our travels. My daughter had her first passport at age 3. Travels currently include Disneyland, Hawaii and Thailand annually (lots of golf :>). Ta date I have visited 24 countries and am always looking for a new venture. As good as life has been, th...Expand for more
e greatest gift is without a doubt my little princess. She is an advance student (semi private school), level 7 competitive gymnast with the USAG, and a "Top Gun" competitive golfer. But, all this is second to being a most beautiful and caring child. Now at age 13 she is still expected to be a child and she does not follow the crowd in trying to grow up to soon. This is refreshing for dear old dad :>). Well, if I have left anything out you are going to have to write and ask the questions ...lol... If ever you are in the area - Remember our door is always open so call. School From parochial school to Lynch Terrace - Oh, what a culture shock :>). To my friends I say thank you for all those days we spent riding around on our sting ray bikes. For those I was unkind to I hope you can forgive me. As kids I think we were quite "cool" but also at time we could be a bit cruel. I wish you all the best and would hope one day we could all get together just one more time. Remember when; "Pink Bellies" in gym class? Winning the football game in the snow as 8th graders against Big Lynch for the first time in many years. Paper towels for the showers after gym. Square dancing classes - Oh, touching girls :<(. Mine & everyone else's on crush "Sally Burgess" - Where are you? "The 3 Amigos" and our talent show. "John and Mary's" and the penny window, 5 burgers for $1.00. Oh Yes, those were the days :>).
