Brian's Story
Some may remember the guy always taking pictures, drawing or camping. That naturally led to a long career in graphics, which is still a-happenin'. After graduation, went to Yuba College for 2 years, then to live in the psychotic Bay Area for 3 years. Among other weird jobs there, I worked as a cook and helper in a halfway house for the mentally ill (man, I can tell you some stories of those poor souls before there were designer drugs). Returned to the NW in 1978 (originally from Vancouver, WA before Middletown). Married in 1982 -- then divorced in 1987. Blessed with 2 kids (now grown) and 2 grandkids. ver, WA in 1999 and moved up into the boonies. I now live on 6 acres near Mt. St. Helens, a frequent gathering place for friends and family. Life has taught me to be self-reliant and really APPRECIATE. . . especially the little things (and little ones). My love of nature increases every year, so I spend a LOT of time outside all year long (my kitchen is outside, on the front deck). I'm happy when the power goes out during a rainy, cold, winter storm. If you were here at then, we would bundle up, go outside, have a BBQ by a roaring fire and talk until the wee hours!
