Brian's Story
Life
A lot has changed since I graduated from 'Chester in 1981. I graduated from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley in 1985. I hung out there a lot with Gib Cooper and went to most of the ATO parties. I still stay in touch with Gib, Chuck Sparks, Lars Frazer, Tom Haas, and Kevin Meyerhoff.
After UC Berkeley I worked for Deloitte Haskins and Sells (later merged to become Deloitte & Touche). I was in the middle market consulting department, and was fortunate to get a lot of interesting assignments including the Grammy Awards. I stuck with D&T for approx. 8 years, and left as a senior manager to return to school.

-founded a snowboard manufacturing and marketing company with one of my classmates.
Moved to Seattle in 1994, and got married in 1996. Had a son, Hunter, in 2000.
Sold the snowboard company and our 5150 brand to Ride Snowboards and moved to Seattle, WA as Ride's Vice President of Worldwide Operations. Left after two years to co-found a wakeboard company with Pat Connelly of Connelly Waterskis. Produced boards that were ridden by Jeremy Kovak to win the 1997 World Championship and the 1997 X Games. Sold that company and went to work at the Chief Financial Officer for Quinton Cardiology, which was taken public in 2002 thereby raising $32.5 million in equity.
Got divorced in 2005 and moved back to Los Angeles where I am now. I like to stay in touch with my old friends, so send me an e-mail.
