Brian's Story
Life
I am currently living in Meridian, Idaho. I own a Sign Company in Caldwell. Andersen Signs, it's just myself, I still pull the top off of the pool table around 5pm. I have one of the best professions in the world, I really enjoy my life, as I have a great toy room, never the same job twice, so very little monotony in my work. Never imagined that I would be in a profession that required artistic abilities, but it definitely can be nurtured as I am a prime example.
I married in 1990 in Washington, D.C. to a beautiful girl from Ireland, we have 2 kids. Mary (my wife) is a teacher at St. Joseph's Catholic School in Boise. My daughter is at BSU, and my son is at Bishop Kelly High School.
I really enjoyed my 14.5 years out of ID, yet, I feel Idaho is the best place to live. I had to get away to appreciate what we have. Still enjoy going up to McCall every once in awhile.

Corps. I miss certain aspects of the Marine Corps, I never planned on going over 4 years, but I really enjoyed the time I spent serving my country. Probably the worst aspect of spending all that time is meeting so many people for such short periods of time. I often wonder about people that I have known throughout my tours, I do wish that I could contact them, but I have no regrets, my family needed to come first.
It is great being back in Idaho, but memories sure come back... sunsets in McCall over the lake, swimming in the Weiser, road trips to Boise at 1 in the morning, partying to "Just another local band" in the Yatch Club. Relaxing on Salmon River with great company..... It just shows how much of your environment plays a part of how you turn out.
