Brian's Story
After moving from VA a few months before Senior year at Gar-Field, I headed north to Ohio, and finished my final year at Brookside. I eventually met my wife of almost 15 years. We have one son who is now almost 5.
Personally, I did a lot of various jobs in management and for the Govt. before becoming a fireman in Texas, decided it wasn't for me and followed the medical path. Have been a Paramedic for 6 years and have worked on ambulances, in ER's, and specialized critical care units. It was the job that was made for me.
Currently I am the luckiest guy in the world as I have been afforded the opportunity to play Mr. Mom and stay home with my son. Somet...Expand for more
hing I have done now for the last 3 years full time. I would trade everything for this opportunity, I don't think many realize how wonderfull it is to watch a child literally grow in front of your eyes.
I do however maintain some sanity as I write a sports blog about the Miami Dolphins and do an interenet radio show on Tuesday nights about the same team. My website is Phinphanatic and my radio show is on FinsRadio dot net.
Oddly enough, I haven't spoken to anyone from Gar-Field in probably 4 years. That has not dampened my memories a bit. Although I had some good friends and good memories from my senior year, my years at Gar-Field are some of the best!
