Life Hi Everyone: I am currently in a V.A.Nursing Home in Vancouver,Wa The dogs in the pound have it better than I do. If you what a job sitting on your butt 1/2 the day,Then get your self a C.N.A. licence I think it takes 3 weeks of school and you can make about $17.00 an hour. Not much money but you get all the holidays off and good great benefits and you can call in sick as much as you like. I've been here 16 months,A third of the time I could not get out of bed. Now I roll myself on a gurney waiting for my ass to heal. The wound care nurse is as dumb as they come. One day she was putting my bandage on, She looked around and said "there they are" she was looking for the scissors that were in here fingers. I guess that's what I get for being just as stupid. In 1977 I was mad at my sister took off speeding in car- the road turned and I didn't. Drove off a ten foot embankment into somebody's pasture. It was dark and I couldn't see what was untop of me, so I spend the night there. In the morning from what a friend told me,They had put a blanket over me and thought that I was dead. Well they were half right I had broke my back and had no feeling from my armpits down. So on July 1st I'll celebrate my 30th year in a wheelchair. But that...Expand for more
