Brian's Story
Few months after graduation I relocated to Stockton, CA and lived there for 17 years. From there I moved to Redding, CA to be with my brother and mother. My brother died 5 days after I arrived from AIDS.
In early 2000, I met an incredible man named Frank Volz, and flew from Redding to Hobbs, NM to be with him. In 2003 we moved to Colorado Springs, CO to be near his sister as Frank had been diagnosed with Lupus.
I injured my back in 1987 and after 2 failed back surgeries I ended up disabled in 1995 and have remained disabled since then.
I had completely lost contact with my classmates from SCHS until a cool social networking site called Facebook allowed me to get in touch with many classmates. I live on Facebook a lot during the day and enjoy posting and reading updates from Classmates and former coworkers in addition to many new friends I've made all over the world.
High School was a difficult time for me as I knew I was gay, but never felt comfortable about being open and honest with friends. I regret that now, because the love and acceptance I've received from my facebook classmates has been overwhelming. I don't feel I've ever been judged by my friends and for that I am extremely grateful.

School is a school that I am extremely proud to have been a graduate from. I guess that's why at 50 years old, I still yearn for that special connection to a great school and awesome friends.
In 1988, after a falling out with my father, I legally changed my name from PUTT to LUND. I took my mother's maiden name of Oslund and dropped the OS, thereby keeping my Danish heritage in tack.
For anyone reading this, I would love to get in touch with you.Peace, love, joy, and light to everyone,
Brian Lund (aka Putt)
I always wanted to be a astronomer when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a stupid idea. As it turns out, they were right.
If I won $100 million, I'd give $99 million of it to the Trevor Project, then spend the rest on me, myself and I. ROFLMAO
My current age is 50. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely surprised.
I share my home with Frank, which I find great.
In 10 years, I hope to be alive. I'm going to get there by being good to myself.
My first job was at San Clemente Inn, where I got paid not enough to wash dishes. What I remember most about it is my hands smelled like soap all the time and in my sleep I'd be washing dishes with my sheets.
