Brian's Story

Life Yes I'm still alive and jumpin'. Playin' my guitar whenever I can. Well I left Springfield as soon as I could after graduation spending a few months in Chicago, then off to San Diego for about 2 years. After Cali, I went out to San Antonio, TX and returned to L.A. before heading to Japan, where I lived for two years, soaking up as much culture as I could. I returned from Japan in 99 and planted shallow roots in Washington D.C. In 2001 I married Heather, we first met in Okinawa, Japan. I spent three years in Groton, CT aboard the USS Augusta as the submarine "DOC", I took care of my crew and all kinds of other stuff. We deployed to Norway, England, Italy France and spent a lot of time in the Artic Circle. In 2005 our first son Kenny was born and then in 2007 we moved to Bremerton, Wa and our second son Joey was born. I deployed with the marine...Expand for more
s 3/1 and went back to Okinawa then off to the Philippines and spent a month at the DMZ freezing my butt off in South Korea. Upon return from that deployment in 2009 I went to another submarine SSGN Ohio (blue crew) and deployed to Guam, Philippines, Australia, the Indian Ocean. Now I serving my last tour at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton and plan to retire from the Navy in October 2014. Well there must be a reason you looked me up, so drop me a line. Later. Military I've been all over the world thanks to the navy. Been through every state in the union except North Dakota and Michigan. I served time in the orient, ran the medical department onboard two submarines, deployed with the marines, travel through Europe, Asia and Australia, and spent time in the Arctic, Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Oceans as well as the Caribean and Mediteranean seas..
