BRIAN SULLIVAN'S STORY I live in Sequim, Washington. I'm married. I worked for the Edison Co.for 20 years as a Lineman retired in1996. Did contract line work for 2 years and retied for good in 1998. Schools were Compton College, Cypress College, Cerritos College. I took about 15 classes in Photoshop over the years. My hobbies are Photography, Computers, Woodworking, Travel, Baseball, Reading, Cooking and Hiking. Authors I like to read are Clancy, Child, Flynn, Cussler, Bell, Brown, Baldacci, Coonts, Forsyth, Connelly, Griffin, Higgins, Thor, Koontz, Robinson, Follett, Bond, Coyle and Chricton. I listen to RUSH and DRUDGE every day. I joined the Navy. Spent 3 1/2 years. Saw a lot of different country's. I continued to play baseball until I was in my 40's. I spend most of my time in my woodworking shop building different projects for around the house. I spend some time each week going out and photographing the beautiful outdoors here on the Olympic Peninsula. A project I will be doing this winter is to scan about 8,000 slides and negatives and digitize them. I look forward to it. I don't watch much TV. I do watch AMC and Turner for the old movies and the baseball games. My favorite baseball players are Mantle, Koufax, Clements and Ryan. I do like to watch a power pitcher. 50 years, where did the time go ??? UPDATE: 10-4-14. Added 38 more pictures today. I have about 65,000 on the computer. Which one's do I download ? The main thing I want to let my fellow Classmates to know that I downloaded a video of our graduation on You Tube. Type in PIUS X HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION 6-6-63. It is a 6 minutes and 16 seconds long. I hope you enjoy it. God Bless. Brian Sullivan. UPDATE 4-20-15. Downloaded 12 photos of the Tulip Festival in LA Conner, WA. It was a beautiful sunny day. We make the trip every year. I'm in the process of selling my camera gear and moving up to the next level. I have 2 photo trips lined up in Dec. and Jan. in the Skagit River to Photograph the Eagles. Can't wait. last 15 months working on my website from when I was in the Navy. Scanned 4,000 slides. I have them edited down to 2,350 Tiff files. It will take me about 2 more months to do them in Photoshop. Then I'll put them all my Navy website. It has only taken my 47 years to get to them. One off the bucket list. Will let you know when I'm done. I lot of time on the computer. Well that is all for now. Thank you. UPDATE 3/25/18. Today I added 105 pictures. I should have added the last one's first and the first one's last then they would come out right: instead of backwards. Oh well. It's hard to choose which ones to publish when there are 157,000 on my computer. Kim and I are enjoying retirement here in Sequim. We do a lot of trips with the Shipley Senior Center. 140 so far. They have 4 very good drivers and we don't haft to drive. We walk every day. 3 miles. I carry a pocket full of biscuits for the neighbors dogs. All the dog's know me. One dog knows another. I spend time on the computer each day doing Photoshop. I like to photograph Veterans, especially WW II Vets. I make 8" X 10" prints of them and put it in a nice frame and give it to them. I have done 110 so far. Fun to do. I finished my Navy website. A lot of hours. ussdecaturddg31 2,310 pictures on it. Did a couple of 1 month trips to Vietnam in 2015 and 2016. 2 weddings. Good time. A lot of food and nice people. I went to the Miramar Air Show in San Diego in 9/17. for 6 days. Spent a day on the U.S.S. Midway where I met my Navy buddy that I had not seen for 47 years. Spent a day at the Cabrillo National Monument to visit my uncle's WW II gravesite. Spent 3 days at the MCAS air show photographing the planes and the military personnel. Shook hands with a lot of Marines. God Bless them for serving our country. I know that my grammar is not always correct here. I'm waiting for one of the nun's to grab my ear and twist it, after all these years I still think about it when I type. Go figure. Well that's all for now. God Bless my classmates.
