After I graduated from Randolph Macon College in Ashland, Virginia in 1990 with a B.Sc. in physics, I started working at TRW in McLean, Virginia as a software developer. Twenty years later, and several employers later, I'm still doing software development. Currently, I'm a senior software developer with L-3 Communications in Chantilly, Virginia. I am part of the Intelligence Community that works to protect our nation from foreign threats. Back in high school I never would have imagined that I would one day be part of such an organization, but given what has transpired since 2001 there's no place else I'd rather be. I had intended on getting an advanced degree in physics but, for various reasons, that didn't happen. Things have worked out just fine, however. I enjoy what I do.
