Bridget's Story
Life
I am married to fabulous man who is my hero and my best friend. We live in northern Wisconsin and are expecting our first baby in May of 2008. I am a consultant for leadership curriculum and development of youth. Life is wonderful!
School
Ohhhh, drama! That about sums it up. I'm doing some acting again... how fun!
College
B.A. in Oral Communication, Public Relations, University of Central Oklahoma, 1996
M.A. in Communication Consultancy, Oklahoma State University, 2000
Ph.D. coursework- in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, Capella University (on hold now...)
Workplace
Wow...what a ride! I started in broadcasting right out...Expand for more
of college. Thought, "There's got to be more to life than working for money to get more stuff."- obviously, money is not a motivator for me. Went back to school for my masters- got it, started teaching at OSU- loved it. Started working in student affairs (OSU then UCO) and directing leadership camps for high school students- loved it too! I spent my days making a difference in someone's life- helping them become who they were created to be. Now I consult on leadership and communication (still doing the camps...leadership) and serve the university where my husband is provost. We host a lot of gatherings and go to many events- fun & fulfilling!
