Bridgette's Story
I recently became a widow, May 1, 2007. Since that time, I have moved to Altus, sold my house in Stillwater, and have been very busy. I am a member of the First United Methodist Church Chancel Choir, a P.E.O. sister of Chapter GQ, a member of the Adjunct/Auxiliary Committee for the Quartz Mountain Music Festival, and serve on the Shortgrass Arts and Humanities Council. I love living in Altus, being close to my family and friends. Below is what I wrote before my life went a little crazy.

Brent Wheatley. We have been married since 1994. I opened my salon, B.M.W. Femme Coiffure, in 1998. While running my business, I received a B.A. in English from OSU. Brent is one of the best guitarists in Oklahoma. He was a founding member of Manifest Destiny and has a recording studio, Demolition Sound. We both work at Oklahoma State University. Brent works in the Vending Department while I work in the Music Department. I still have my salon, but only work there on the weekends. I am pursuing an alternative certification to teach English.
