Britt's Story
Life
I'm living in Gatesville (west of Waco) and love it but I miss the Pineywoods. My family and I moved here 8 years ago. My wife Jill and I have 3 kids (Duncan 13, Bailey 12, and Emmy 10) and have several dogs, cats, horses, cows, and a hamster.
After several years in college at Tarleton, SFA and A&M, we lived in Hawaii, Louisiana and Longview before settling here in central Texas. I opened a veterinary clinic that has grown to 3 vets and 12 employees the past 8 years. I enjoy my work but sometimes wish for more free time. We stay busy, busy, busy!
My wife works at a local hospital and we spend most of our free time going to kid's ballgames, church stuff and Texas Aggie football games. I also really enjoy hunting and golfing the past couple of years. My alternative career choice would be working at Cabela's or Lowes.

oin Classmates.com and spend 3 hours trying to figure out how to post a bio (which I did) and a photo (which I finally did).
Update 7/08: I will now try again to post a photo or 2 of me and my family. Has anyone noted we are starting to look old(er)? Things are sagging and I'm growing hair where I used to have no hair. My shoulder and knee often ache. I despise MTV (which I used to love) and crap that negatively influences my kids. Bad umpire and refs at the kids ballgames do not bother me a bit. I worry often about saving $$$ for college and retirement and do a lot better job of being thrifty and living modestly (now that I've got $$) than I did 15-20 years ago (when I had no $$). I really regret some of the crap I did and said to people when I was in high school. But I hope I've made amends for some of that stuff and I laugh at some of the crazy stuff from 80-82. May Mr. Harrison rest in peace (even though he busted my butt for dipping in chemistry then pulled his spitoon from under his desk, spit, smiled at me and said "don't ever dip in class again."
