Tary's Story

Life After graduating from the UofA, I finally did what I had wanted to do all along and went to school to become a massage therapist and Reiki master practitioner. I own my own business, taking my portable table to people's homes. On the side, I fulfilled a lifelong fantasy by becoming a professional belly dancer - I've performed as "Damiana" at several restaurants in town, state and county fairs, and private parties. also have been studying lampwork glass bead making with marvelous Marcia Kmack of Cave Creek Glassworks. I've begun doing sculptural glass representations of animals, etc., and plan to do breed-specific items for custom work. On the personal front, I married my longtime sweetheart, Loren Vanstone, in August of 2004 in the beautiful little town of Ouray, Colorado. I now have a fifteen-year-old stepdaughter (Samantha), as well as three feline daughters (Misty, Mollie, and CaraMia)! We recently moved to a rural area just north of Phoenix and are determining what to do with our acre of desert land.
