Bruce's Story
Left Newport News to pursue education at The University of Chicago and Georgetown University. Have lived in the DC area for quite a while. Have been getting home a lot these days, caring for aging and sick Parents. it has been nice to get home more often and slow my life down and care for my folks. I have worked with "at risk" children most of my professional life and I feel it is my calling. My own children have been blessed with wonderful lives and are becoming amazing people. They have also been a blessing and have made life such a joyous wonder. God can truly do anything!! e, I am both humbled and gratified. When I look at my children and the heights to which they are ascending and the love in their hearts, I know they will do amazing things of their own and change the world a little for the better or maybe in some enormous way, that might benefit us all. I Would love to communicate with more of my old school mates.
In response to our President's call to national service and to make an even bigger difference, I'm about to start organizing a major new project that I hope will make a difference in the lives of our people, especially our children, nationally (more on that later). May be calling on some of my "old mates" to play a part in something special.
