of fame" rule which should be monitored and rigidly enforced.
Things I whine about:
- Bartenders don't see me. No matter what. Whenever I walk up, there's always something else more intersting for them to do at the other end of the bar. Moments like that make me want to blow a police whistle or an air horn to get their attention.
- I attract fire engines. It's not that I'm setting things on fire, it's just that whenever I'm in my car, sooner or later a fire engine is gonna come screaming up behind me and destroy my inner peace....
- Everyone in line is a special case. Is it just me, or are there more and more people iin line ahead of you that require loads of time from the counter person. To me, it seems like I'm always held back by somebody who wants to pay for something with a combination of, say, an expired credit card and foreign money. To quote Woody Allen; "I just want to hit them with a sock filled with horse manure"".
