Bruce's Story

I'm currently a single guy with two boys, ages 8 and 5, living in Broadview Heights, Ohio (Cleveland area). Life is good. My boys are my pride and joy. And yes, they are both awesome hockey players. We do a lot of other activities too including making trips to northern Minnesota two times a year for Christmas and summer vacation. I'm a sales manager for a privatly held chemical company. I still play hockey - I have a lot of fun playing in a men's league keeping up with the 20-25 year old kids on the ice. I also still play trumpet for fun. My life is centered around my faith, my kids, my family and ...Expand for more
my work. Since graduating from North High I obtained a BA in chemistry from St. Olaf College, a M.S. in organic chemistry from UMD, a PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Illinois at Chicago and an MBA from the University of Michigan. I've been working in the coatings field since 1993 starting as a chemist and then having sales, marketing, and management positions. I've learned that life isn't about the material stuff or being powerful or popular. It's about relationships, living right and finding your real purpose in life. It's about helping others. I try to make the most out of each day.
