Since then, I have lived in Morehead Kentucky (2 yrs), Cincinnati Ohio (5 yrs), Canton New York (8 yrs), Sewanee Tennessee (4 yrs), Washington DC (2 years) and Rome Georgia (18 yrs). ulties at St. Lawrence University, Sewanee, Wilmington College, and University of Cincinnati, and am now Associate for Parasites at Harvard University's Museum of Comparative Zoology, and Gund Professor of Biology at Berry College. I'm still doing a lot of research around the world, including the St. Lawrence River in NY and Canada, but also in Poland, Spain, the Czech Republic, Ireland, Italy, Peru, Ukraine, and other places. As Jefferson Science Fellow, I also am a senior science advisor to the U.S. Department of State, advising on issues related to international health and health and environmental science diplomacy, and other areas of U.S. foreign policy. In addition to my scientific work, I've published one novel, "The Curse of Durgan's Reef" (available at Amazon.com, BN.com, etc.).
