Bruce's Story
Greetings and Salutations All! Wow. So, I've never really been what you could call "nostalgic", but out of curiosity I decided to join this site just to see what people I used to know had been doing with themselves ALL these years!
I joined the Navy the year after high school to see the world and got bit by the travel bug.
I think I'm up to about 20 or so countries more or less, and still have some places I'd like to check out.
Interestingly or not, I went to work as a civilian contractor and spent time in Bosnia, Kuwait, Iraq (twice), Uzbekistan, and Afghanis...Expand for more
tan (twice) for a total of about 7 years. Crraaazy times! Got mortared, rocketed, and shot at a lot, but in the process I found out I was what some people call an adrenaline junkie! It was just fun to me.
Hung up my spurs from the danger zone scene back in 2010, and immediately went to Thailand to soak up the tropical beach scene for about a year. I've lived there twice actually, and enjoyed it immensely. These days, I'm a laid back resume writer with a few online sites and chillin my jets in the mountains of North GA.
