Just published an article on Vintage Sniper Rifles in Sportsman;s Gazette. Thanks to word processor and digital camera - so easy to correct or throw away your mistakes! I have a Part II scheduled for the next issue, and was taking pictures for it yesterday - found a collector with examples of most of the ones I don't own.

t of a dear friend, Jim Mitchell, at the National Cementqry in Bushnell this week. I have his flag, as the nearest thing he had to a surviving relative. I am setting up a small memorial in my store, with the flag, pictures, his Combat Infantry Bade and WWII helmet form the 'Battle of the Bulge' and his service awards. Sic Transit Glora Mundi!
