Bruce's Story

Life has been interesting for me, not all good but not all bad either. The Chinese have a curse which doesn't really sound like a curse: May you live in interesting times. Sums me up in a nutshell. Been very interesting. I spent some time with Uncle Sam, mostly fixing airplanes in the Air Force, some other things, did the bicycle/backpack thing through Europe then did the same across the South West here in the States. Got married, had a son, got separated, got divorced, still got the house and my son, got married again and inherited a daughter with my new wife, had two more sons and we are all healthy. s where I live. I don't go in, but I do drive past them. After leaving the Air Force in '92, I settled in the booming metropolis of Byran, Texas where I had a short lived career as an automotive technician, but then I found out I made a mistake making my hobby my career, so I stopped bending wrenches on a professional basis. That was in '96 when I entered the automotive parts business. I have worked for AutoZone and O'Reilly's in the past, but not Napa or Advanced. I currently work for a Mack truck dealership here in town and I do not foresee a change anytime soon. Got some personal views not normally accepted by society, so if you wish to hear about them, just ask. I am Bruce Edge, aka Zebra62, stop by the stable some time.
