Bruce's Story
Graduated from Bellaire, 1966
Went to Texas Tech for three years, got married and dropped out of school
Joined the Navy, was attached Naval Special Warfare Group Pacific, did one tour in Viet Nam.
Returned to Houston and got into Commercial Real Estate Operations.
Lived and worked in the Bahamas for short period.
1981, I went to work with my, PMRG. I've been here 35 years. I was EVP - Managing Director of Operations. Retired May 1, 2016.
Personal Information: Been married four times (not a good track record). I have three wonderful children; two daughters and one son. I also have four really wonderful grandchildren....Expand for more
June, 2015, I was diagnosed with throat cancer (metastatic squamous cell carcinoma). 34 sessions of radiation and some chemotherapy (no surgery required), I'm cancer free. Treatment was complete over a year ago. I have completed my 9th month follow-up and I still have a clean bill of health. I am blessed.
Personal Interest: I enjoy the shooting sports; 3 Gun, Multi-Gun and IDPA. I hunt and fish whenever I can. I made a one month African Safari in 2009. And play golf if I can't hunt or fish. I also enjoy photography (big camera buff).
I love life and enjoy the outdoors.
2020 - Five years cancer free. I am blessed.
