Bruce's Story
Objective:
To continue being a competitive force in the entertainment industry in the areas of songwriting, producing, and performance. My Music Industry activity stretches from 1972 to present as a Singer/Songwriter/Orchestrator/Pianist/
Publisher/Author in Philadelphia, PA.
1972 through 1977 was spent at Philadelphia International Records and Mighty Three Music publishing Co, in Philadelphia, PA.
I became a staff member who spearheaded the acquisition of new writers and production teams which increased the company's earnings greatly.
*Recorded, produced, wrote, orchestrated, played piano and performed vocals, for many established artists which yielded mega-millions in revenue. Artist such as: The Spinners, Johnny Mathis, Dionne Warwicke, Gladys Knight & The Pips, The Three Degrees, The First Choice, Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes. The Whispers, The Stylistics, Little Anthony & The Imperials, New York City, Instant Funk, Blue Magic, Tony Award Winners: Melba Moore and Ron Richardson of the group City Limits that included award winning actress, Vikkilyn Reynolds and the list goes on.
*1979 to 1982, I worked with the Gulf & Western Corporation Publishing Company in New York, NY as a Publisher/Writer/Producer.
*Subsequently, I signed a Co-Publishing agreement with Famous Music a Paramount Corporation company.
I then further established myself as a producer/writer in New York City.
1982¿1987 I worked with Stevie Wonder and Won-Direction Records in Los Angeles, CA. as a CO-Publisher/Artist/Writer/Producer.
*I helped to create a multi-cultural group, ¿The MYX."
*The Group "MYX," signed a lucrative recording deal with Stevie Wonder¿s record label.
During this time I also CO-wrote a song called, "PEACE" that was performed across Russia by my collaborator, CATHERINE S...Expand for more
TULBERG for that Country's version of "Hands Across America."
*I conducted remixes for Noel Pointer¿s Jazz CD, wrote for Phyllis Hyman, "Tonight You And Me," that appears on her Greatest Hits CD, and Marlena Shaw.
*Established a new and expanded marketing style for Jazz artists.
Later in 1987, I wrote with and produced Enrico Macias of France and it was a thrilling experience for me. One of the world's finest.
*Wrote with Melba Moore and performed the music on Broadway with Melba Moore in the play: "Innocent Black
*Produced four consecutive CD¿s for Melba Moore over the course of two (2) and a half (1/2) years.
In 1998, I moved the Industrial Strength Music Publishing Co. to Florida.
*Had 7 Platinum CD¿s in 12 years on artists such as Tupac, Mary J. Blige, R. Kelly, LL Cool J, Jay Zee and James Taylor.
